Stark Resources approached Eptoscore to assist them with an engineering site audit and assessment of an existing fluorspar processing plant in Tajikistan. The main objective of the audit was to collect and compile sufficient data and information as to complete a concept design that could be progressed to implementation whereby the plant could be automated and operated at nameplate capacity.
The deliverables of the engineering audit included the following:
- interpret and convert the existing plant design and drawings from Russian into English;
- conduct a 3D laser scan of the entire plant and compile a complete virtual reality model (VRM) with walkthrough and measuring capabilities;
- automation concept design;
- surveillance system concept design; and
- mechanical equipment list including current condition complete with photo book and recommended spare parts list.
Our team successfully completed the engineering site audit and assessment within the project timeline and enabled Stark to implement the concept design and provided information into their project execution.
